The store was also featured in an independent movie called “Mind Forest,”in which both my husband, Arawyn, and myself acted as extras. You can find more about that movie, and watch the trailer, at the Mind Forest website. At this time it is not available for purchase, but there is hope that at some time it will be made into a full-length feature. Here is a picture of Arawyn as the character, Malcolm Wallace. He was also one of the technical advisors for the movie, along with Raven Grimassi. He also is responsible for the chant "We Call to Thee" that is interwoven throughout the movie.
Zell designed his vision of Gaia with a planetary globe forming Her pregnant belly. Every part of Her body contains symbols of the living Earth. Sculpted in the back of Her hair are animals tracing the evolution of life on land and those Her legs trace the evolution of life in the sea. One breast represents the moon, the other the is a cornucopia of fruits and vegetables. Similar engravings on her arms show the forests: Redwoods on Her right arm, and the tropical Rain Forest on Her left. Her facial features are a blend of all races. She symbolizes the interconnectedness of all being. The statue comes with a printed guide to every image. This is one altar statue you will treasure forever.
You can get your own Millennial Gaia statue from Gaiam by clicking on the image below.
